The JUNIOR KUPPANNA KITCHENS PRIVATE LIMITED brand needless to say is the leading brand in Kongu regional cuisine.Late Mr. Kuppusamy shifted from Coimbatore to Erode at the age of 14 and worked as a table cleaner for 10 years at Hotel Selva Vilas near Erode railway station who later became the Manager of the said Hotel. Late Mr. Kuppusamy started a small eatery with 12 seats in 1958 in Erode where former Tamil Icons such as K. Kamaraj, MGR, Shivaji, Kalaignar, Jayalalithaa etc., became a fan of their cooking. It is to be noted that both Late Mr. Kuppusamy and Late Ms. Rukmani Amma were an exponent in Kongu regional Cuisine.
