Amaravathi hospital was started in the year 1980 at Karur with less than 25 in-patient beds. In the earlier days, we were concentrating only on medical and pediatric branches. Later on, other branches like surgery, trauma care and other branches were added. Now this hospital is functioning with 75 beds capacity as multi specialty hospital.

In the peripheral town of Karur we introduced ventilator facility in the year 1985 itself. In the area of critical care facilities we are increasing the manpower and equipments step by step over the years, to match with modern developments in the field of health care.

The role of private sector hospitals is quite significant to fulfill the inadequacies in the need for medical treatment. Amaravathi Hospital has taken all efforts to update equipments which are mentioned in subsequent sections.

In our hospital 75 qualified staff nurses, official workers 25 persons and 15 doctors are working round the clock for 24 hours. We have provided training to 25 nursing students every year. Specially working as a CASH LESS TREATMENT Center for more than 30 insurance companies in successful manner.

The hospital is now functioning with a team of well qualified and professionally skilled medical staff with long years of experience in the respective fields. The quality of nursing care is maintained by adequately trained nurses and Para-medical staff. The hospital is now in a position to provide proper treatment and medical care to any polytrauma and all emergency cases.

What has been stated so far is the present position of the hospital with the invention and innovation taking place in the field of medical science one has to keep oneself abreast of new developments and provide with more and modern equipments updating existing one.
