Dr.S.P.Thiagarajan MD (Gen. Med.), DM (Nephrology) had been served for over 40 years as a nephrologist and has done over 400+ renal transplants. He was been 3rd in Tamilnadu and 5th in India when doing his first transplant. The main aim was to set up free screening camps across rural and urban areas to detect kidney problems at an earlier stage, so far he had set up almost 2000 Screening camps in which nearly 1.8 Lakhs people have benefited from this initiative taken by during his period.
